Wattle and Daub repairs

We are always keen to retain as much historic infill as possible and work hard to keep it in place. Sometimes it is in such poor condition that we have to remove it and reconstitute it, occasionally we have to remove sections to facilitate our repair works. We always reinstate it like-for-like and reuse any we have taken out mixed with fresh straw and good Suffolk clay!
