New Framing Projects
Garden Room, Wyverstone
We have worked on Rob and Anne-Laure's 16th century house over many years, gradually working our way round repairing plates as required. Now that the repair work is complete we were asked to frame a new garden room extension for them which once finished will have double glazed side walls.
A very simple yet elegant frame that uses the main house as its inspiration (without being a slavish copy) which we all enjoyed making. The frame was cut and raised in three weeks and will have (hidden) softwood rafters with shaped oak sprockets at the eaves.
